Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Chili

So this is another one of those "too easy to be a recipe" recipes. The other day, when it was cold and grey, I decided that I wanted chili and nothing else. I didn't have enough ground beef (let's be real here, 1 lb of ground beef = 2 meals for me, maybe) but I did have a pork shoulder that needed to be cooked. So really, this recipe is born out of my lack of desire to drive to the grocery store. You're welcome. DSC_0015_01

And sometimes, you try to go for a small, artsy spill....and end up dumping chili powder EVERYWHERE. Such is life.

This recipe is just a combination of two recipes that are already posted around here, so I won't re-write the entire thing but instead, direct you to those, and give you the steps and a few additional ingredients that I used. Feel free to add any additional veggies like mushrooms and peppers that you normally like in your chili - I just didn't have any on hand.

I've been eating this non-stop since I made it and show no signs of stopping anytime soon. Chili, pulled pork, and cold weather - it's just oh so right.
